Electric rates will be rising for Bryan Municipal Utilities customers…after the utility gets approval for three straight years of rate hikes on Tuesday. Officials say they would increase 2.9% in each of the first two years and 2.6% in the third. Also…increases of 2.1% in year 1 and 2% in years two and three are set for large power customers. The changes take effect, next month.
