GOP State Rep. Rob McColley of Napoleon ran unopposed and was elected Nov. 8 for a second two-year term representing Williams, Henry and Putnam counties. The Bryan Times reports now he’ll have additional legislative duties as he was elected by his colleagues in the House Republican Caucus leadership team to serve as assistant majority whip in Ohio’s 132nd General Assembly. He attributed his election to assistant whip to “hard work” and that he is not afraid to “dive into the issues and gain expertise in issues that are important to Ohioans.”
