Gunplay Helps Driver

A truck driver uses a handgun to get help after his own big rig runs him over. Terrence Connors told officers he got out of the vehicle before fully engaging the parking brakes. The semi rolled over his leg, seriously injuring him. The parking area at the mid toll lot on the turnpike, east of Ohio 49, was full of running vehicles…no one could hear Connors’ cries for help. He had a Ruger 380 handgun on him. A series of shots fired into the air directed people to find Connors and get him to the hospital. No charges are filed.
