Handshoe Faces Charges

A neighborhood dispute ends in the arrest of a rural Orland man. Steuben County deputies responded to the 6900 block of West County Road 490 North in Millgrove Township on a reported fight…involving gunplay. When the cops arrive…they bring in 53 year old Mark Handshoe. Officials say…a feud led to threats of physical harm being made. Handshoe is accused of getting a gun…then firing in the direction of other individuals involved. The police have that weapon in their possession. Handshoe is booked into the Steuben County Jail…held without bond, pending an initial court appearance. Minor injuries were reported. Area detectives and the State Police are working together in the case.
