National Engineering Week is here and there are events planned in the area to explain and encourage people to get into engineering. Tonight at 7 p.m., the president of the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers and dean of Ohio University’s College of Engineering will speak on the importance of engineering at the Stroede Center for the Arts. The talk is free and open to the public. Afterward, there’s a walk to the Tuttle Museum for an exhibit of 50 years of Engineering History.
