In DeKalb County, the drivers of two vehicles involved in a head on collision Tuesday morning escaped with minor injuries. The accident did however, affect the morning commute of many, as it happened at about 6:50am on U.S. 6 at the entrance to southbound I-69. 46-year-old Donald Johnson Junior of Waterloo was making a left turn when his pickup truck was hit by a car driven by 28-year-old Wesley Wright of Fort Wayne. Johnson was cited for failure to yield. He and Wright were both treated at the scene for minor injuries, and released.
