The Ohio Turnpike announces a travel ban for all high-profile vehicles, in anticipation of a major winter storm forecast to hit northern Ohio. It covers the entire turnpike…from 7 a.m. Wednesday to noon, on Friday. The ban will be enforced by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Again…it’s for high profile vehicles and trailers…the tall ones. Those can get blown around quite a bit in a storm, so, transportation officials see it as a safe way to avoid the trouble. Not included in the travel ban are self-propelled motor homes, low-profile trailers, fold-down camper trailers, pickup trucks with slide-on camper units…or any other type of trailers, towed by passenger vehicles or pickup trucks. There’s more, online.
