HENRY CRASHES

Henry County offi­cers are look­ing into sev­eral recent crashes.

The sheriff’s office says on U.S. 6 in Har­ri­son Town­ship near state route 110, a pickup dri­ven by 67 year old Ken­neth Meyer of Kansas was east­bound, and turned into the path of a semi dri­ven by 39 year old Jason Camp­bell of Stryker. Both dri­vers, along with a pas­sen­ger in the pickup, 65 year old Joyce Ann Meyer of Kansas, were taken to the Henry County Hos­pi­tal. Ken­neth Meyer was cited for Fail­ing to Yield.

In the other acci­dent, 49 year old Loretta Strayer of Lib­erty Cen­ter lost con­trol of her vehi­cle and ran into some trees along road S in Lib­erty Town­ship. Strayer was injured and was taken to the Henry County Hos­pi­tal by Lib­erty Rescue.
