Hicksville man ejected from truck crash

Now to Hicksville, where the dri­ver of a pickup that went off the road and hit a tree was trans­ported to the hos­pi­tal Sun­day afternoon.
In Defi­ance County, The Ohio State High­way Patrol says 43-year-old Scot Elwood was dri­ving north on Casebeer-Miller Rd. about 4:15 p.m. when his truck went off the road, through a ditch and field, hit a tree and rolled over. Mr. Elwood was not wear­ing a seat­belt and was thrown from his truck. He is in sta­ble con­di­tion. The crash remains under investigation.
