Earlier this week, we told you about a proposal to change the Hilldale city open-burning ordinance. The change was approved by the city council and bans all open burning in the city between midnight and 4am, meaning no campfires, open fire pits, or bonfires. Open fires are also off-limits during burn bans issued by local or state authorities. The ordinance does not affect barbecue, gas, or charcoal grills.
