Hillsdale Man Shocked In Crash

The inves­ti­ga­tion con­tin­ues into a Sat­ur­day night acci­dent that injured a Hills­dale man when he was shocked by some live elec­tri­cal wires in Wright Town­ship. The crash hap­pened just after 10:30 Sat­ur­day night on Pitts­ford Road, when 45-year-old Joseph Fredrick Parson’s vehi­cle hydroplaned on some water that was over the road­way. The vehi­cle went out of con­trol, off the road, into a field, and then slammed into a util­ity pole, which then came crash­ing down on the vehi­cle. Par­son was injured from the live wires. He was flown by Life­Flight to Parkview Regional Med­ical Cen­ter in Fort Wayne. No word today on his condition.
