HOG REMAINS AT SHELTER

The Williams County Humane Soci­ety is still car­ing for a hog that fell from a truck Mon­day morn­ing near Mont­pe­lier on US 20. The hog is at the humane soci­ety shel­ter where they say the 450 pound sow is doing well with the excep­tion of some scratches and an injured leg from the fall.

A pass­ing dri­ver reported the pig at around 9am Mon­day. The Humane Soci­ety says they will care for the hog for up to two weeks as they wait for the owner to claim it.
