A new electric substation is in the works in Holiday City. The Village council approved multiple purchase orders for construction and financing of the new electric substation. Construction should begin in early June with site preparation, and will be completed by early November, with a testing phase to follow. The Council also decided to keep three acres of land owned by the village next to the new substation property for future use.
