Hollywood movies will be coming to Ohio, thanks to new film cap

You’ll see more movies filmed in Ohio, after the Governor signed into law a revised Ohio Motion Picture Tax Credit, which caps the incentive at $40 million, up from $5, and changed the incentive rate to a flat 30 percent on all production dollars spent here.
The changes are expected to bring thousands more jobs, and hundreds of millions of dollars to Ohio. It’s another step towards making us more competitive with other states that lead in movie production like Georgia.
