HOME HEALTH SCAM REPORTED IN DEFIANCE

Defi­ance Police are warn­ing res­i­dents in that city of a per­son who is claim­ing to be a home health care nurse and enter­ing people’s homes.

The depart­ment has received sev­eral reports of elderly res­i­dents being vis­ited by a woman claim­ing to be a home health care nurse over the past week. The woman has been described as being in her mid-20s, 5-foot, 5-inches tall and weigh­ing approx­i­mately 120 pounds. She is report­edly dressed in hos­pi­tal scrubs and requests to enter and look around res­i­dents’ homes.
