A horse and buggy driven by a 12-year-old boy is hit after running a stop sign in LaGrange County. Deputies say the buggy was traveling south on County Road 300 E, east of LaGrange when it ran a stop sign at the intersection with US 20. A semi traveling on the highway was unable to avoid a collision. The semi hit the horse and the impact cause the buggy to flip over. The horse died at the scene. The boy was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
