House Fire Doused On Downing Street

Three area fire departments are dispatched to a house fire on Downing St., in Bryan. Officials tell reporters the blaze started from an equipment malfunction in the basement. Crews kept the flames there. Smoke damage reported in the home. No one is hurt in the fire. Everyone living there got out okay before the fire team arrived. Fire officials continue to investigate.
