House Fire Put Out In Delta

A house in Delta is destroyed in a fire on U.S. 20A. Fire crews from Wauseon, Lyons, and Liberty Center helped knock down the blaze after about two hours. One adult and two children were home at the time but they got out, okay. Several family pets perished in the fire. Officials say a Delta firefighter was treated and released at the Fulton County Health Center after being overcome by heat. The cause of the fire, which began in the back of the house, is undetermined, but foul play is not suspected
