Icy, wind, rain cause power lines to go down

Freezing rains and high winds knocked down power lines yesterday between Antwerp and Payne. Ohio 49 was closed while ODOT crews work to clear the poles. There were power outages due to the wind and rain. Some scattered outages in West Unity in Williams County were reported, and in Holgate in Henry County last evening. In Pauling County, the southern part of the county had about a dozen customers in the dark.
