Governor Eric Holcomb says Indiana is well-positioned to compete for jobs, compared to most states. But does Indiana have enough workers to fill those jobs? Part of Holcomb’s plan is to stop taxing veterans’ pension checks. Vets could choose to live here, starting a post-military career, while spending that pension check in Indiana. The governor plans to unveil similar ideas in the coming weeks.
