A 14-year-old girl is airlifted to the hospital…after she loses control and is thrown from the off-road vehicle she is driving in DeKalb County. Officials tell reporters the crash took place on private property. The girl was not wearing a helmet. Indiana law requires all operators and passengers of off-road vehicles, under 18, must wear a one. Several agencies work together on the call. The state is investigating.
