A crash, involving a truck and a big rig on US 24 at Webster Rd. in New Haven leaves one person in serious condition. Officers tell reporters the truck hit the broadside of the semi while turning onto the ramp. Emergency crews had to free the driver of the truck from the vehicle. Medics take him to a local hospital, badly hurt. No other injuries were reported. The roadway was cleared after a while. The investigation into the crash continues at this hour.
