The unemployment rate stays the same from September to October in Williams County at 3.4 percent. At the state level, Ohio’s non-seasonally adjusted unemployment rate dropped to 3.9 percent during the month, from 4.1 in September and 4.2 percent in August. The national rate stays at 3.3 percent, which it fell to in September from 3.8 percent in August. Defiance County’s jobless rate for October was at 4.8 percent.
