All counties, including Williams County, in the northwest corner of Ohio saw unemployment rates drop from October in November. In Williams County’s it was 3.2 percent, down slightly from 3.4 percent in October, September and August. The county’s rate remains one of the lowest in the state and is the lowest in the four-county area by 0.5 percent. An estimated 18,300 of Williams County’s 18,900-person work force were employed in November 2019. Defiance County’s jobs rate for November was 4.1 percent.
