A Williams County man pleads guilty to the murder of a 9-month-old infant. Cody Jondreau, 25, faces a minimum of 15 years to life in prison on the murder charge. He also plead guilty to two charges of endangering children. If Jondreau is ever released, he must register as a violent offender for 10 years. He is held in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. Sentencing is set for 10 a.m. Dec. 16 in a Williams County courtroom. We reported Jondreau fled after the death of his infant son, Alexander Jondreau, who died from his injuries in September 2020, in a Toledo hospital. Then in June…we reported Jondreau escaped from the Pinellas County Jail in Florida… by scaling a fence and running across a roof, where he jumped about 11 feet to the ground, then scaled another fence and jumped a second time. He was caught, minutes later…and in time…brought back to Ohio.
