July unemployment numbers for NW Ohio.

In employment news, rates remained mainly unchanged in July, with two of six local counties topping 5%.The lowest area county remained Putnam at 3.6% followed by Paulding County at 4.5%. All counties saw changes of 0.5% or less. And the Labor Department reports the number of people classified as “unemployed” in July by county, with the labor force total in parentheses, were: Defiance, 900 (18,300); Fulton, 1,100 (22,300); Henry, 800 (13,200); Paulding, 400 (9,100); Putnam, 700 (19,700); and Williams, 900 (18,300).
