June G. Geesey, 90 years, of Bryan, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan. June was born May 30, 1924 in Sherwood, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Lula (Sanders) Partee. She married Warren Mills, and he was killed in action during World War II. June worked for Ohio Art for 20 years, and finished her career working for Powers & Sons in Montpelier. She was a member of the Montpelier Eagles. June enjoyed gardening, going to auctions and collecting antiques. She was known as being a hard working individual.
Surviving are her three daughters, Connie Mills of Hicksville, Ohio, Sandy (Bill) Schlosser of Auburn, Indiana and Cheri (Roger) Elliott of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Rodney (Chris) Schlosser of Charleston, South Carolina, Chris (Micolea) Schlosser of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kimberly (Ross) Thomas of St. Charles, Illinois, Traci (Brian) Cook of Granger, Indiana and Stefanie (Tom) Losik of Chicago, Illinois; 12 great-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Steven Schlosser, Reilly and Makena Schlosser, Jordan and Alex Thomas, Keegan, Abbi and Averi Cook, Kyle, Ryan and Jake Losik; two sisters, Francis Wonderly and Joann Grant, both of Sherwood, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and four sisters.
Visitation for June G. Geesey will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan, where funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sherwood Cemetery, Sherwood, Ohio.
