Jury trial is set for Stryker man, accused of retaliation against a public official.

A three-day jury trial is set for November…for a Stryker man, accused of retaliation against a public official. Michael Hill, 39, has been charged with the third-degree felony. The final pre-trial hearing was held in Williams County Common Pleas Court. The judge granted a motion for the defense to file all motions on behalf of Hill, with the state having 10 days after to file its response pleadings. After that, the court will determine if oral arguments are necessary or if he will rule on the motions without hearing. The trial is set to begin 9 a.m. on Nov. 27.
