Just Hang Up

The scammers are at it again…this time Bryan Municipal Utilities is warning its customers to be on the lookout. Residents and businesses in the area are getting phone calls from someone claiming to be with BMU, urging them to pay their bill with a credit card over the phone and threatening disconnection if they don’t. The call comes from Hamilton. BMU doesn’t demand payment or threaten to shut off service like that. As always, never give out any information and just hang up.
