Governor John Kasich took time off the road to the White House for his State of the State address. While he’s hoping for a contested GOP convention in Cleveland and a shot at the presidency, he took time to recap his accomplishments in the Buckeye State. Among the many decisions he made, he defended his position of expanding Medicaid, saying that more people have health care, and many who fight drug addiction are getting help they wouldn’t be getting otherwise.
