Kendallville Standoff Ends Well

A standoff at a N. Riley Street address in Kendallville ends peacefully. Officials say officers talked with a man at the house when he pulled out a handgun and threatened to use it. That’s when police set up a standoff. The man fired several rounds and Indiana State Police…that’s when a SWAT team was called in. They broke a window, and tossed a phone inside to get the person inside to talk to them. After a lengthy conversation on the phone, the man surrendered peacefully.
