Kids Charged As Arsonists

In But­ler, Police now say that three chil­dren were respon­si­ble for the March 26th fire which destroyed the Old But­ler Com­pany build­ing on South Broad­way. The two boys and a girl… all ages 11 and 12, appar­ently spread gas inside of the build­ing and set a cou­ple of fires. Police say there appears to be no motive, and there are no adult sus­pects. The case has now been turned over to DeKalb County Juve­nile author­i­ties. That fire took almost three hours to get under con­trol, and one fire­fighter suf­fered a twisted ankle while fight­ing the blaze.
