A branch of the Ku Klux Klan is planning a meeting in Auburn this weekend. At the same time…the city is calling for love and compassion…to block out hate. It’s billed the Indiana White Unity Meet and Greet…set for Saturday. The group did not release a location for the meeting. They say it will be in a central location in Auburn. As word of the event swirls, a counter group…the Indiana Mutual Aid Coalition…plans a Day of Solidarity gathering at the DeKalb County Courthouse on Saturday afternoon. The Coalition calls the gathering an assembly of people networking against racial injustice and hate.
