Kreischer…Again.

The Williams County Sheriff’s Office is looking for John Kreischer this week…even though we reported…the authorities found him last week. Deputies released Kreischer’s photo Wednesday, asking the public for tips on his whereabouts. He was arrested Jan. 19 and taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio based on a tip…that another fugitive was at the M&D Motel, on Ohio 15. While looking for that suspect, a parole officer identified Kreischer, who was arrested on a Defiance Municipal Court warrant charging him with first-degree misdemeanor aggravated menacing. Kreischer made his initial appearance on the menacing charge in Defiance Municipal Court on Jan. 21. The judge issued a temporary protection order, ordering him to have “no contact whatsoever” with the alleged victim and released him on his own recognizance until his next pretrial conference on Feb. 8.
