Land Bid Underway In WC

Williams County commissioners open bids from area farmers, interested in renting 162 acres of county-owned land near Hillside Country Living. They received 11 bids from farmers who, if selected, would be contracted to rent the land for three years for crop production. The bids ranged from a high of $257 an acre per year, to a low of $126.
