Leg Lost In Crash

A Fremont man loses part of his leg…after his motorcycle is sideswiped in a three vehicle crash, near County Road 125 East. Investigators say the rider, Cody Ormsbee, was trying to turn left onto 125 East from 120, when he is hit by Ericka Pillitiere. She later told deputies she never saw the motorcycle. Ormsbee was thrown off the bike….his right leg severed, just below the knee. He then gets up and hobbles off the roadway. An off duty nurse is there…and gets a tourniquet on that leg. Ormsbee is in Parkview Medical Center…in stable condition.
