Liberty Center to lose two due to retirement rules

In Liberty Center, the Council President Terry Bowers and the income tax administrator and his wife Mary Ann Bowers have resigned. The couple told the council that due to retirement rules, they can’t afford to keep their jobs because of health insurance costs. Mary Ann added that being a rehired retiree has caused great problems with their health insurance. The village council voted Diane Endicott to be the village’s new income tax administrator. The Council has 30 days to select a replacement council president.
