Liberty Center Woman Dead Following Crash

A crash has claimed the life of a Liberty Center woman. It happened Sunday. 21 year old Catherine Lautar was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 22 year old John Davis of Delta.

Davis’ vehicle was traveling on US-20A in Monclova Township when it slid into an oncoming snow plow driven by 31 year old Adam Vance of Metamora, splitting the Davis vehicle in half. Both the driver and passenger were thrown from the car. Lautar was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lucas County coroner’s office.

Davis was taken by ambulance to the University of Toledo Medical Center, Toledo. Vance, the driver of the snowplow, was not hurt.
