Lorenz Found Dead

The dismembered body of a former Defiance resident is found in a residence on the southwest side of Columbus. Authorities here identified the victim as Allyson Lorenz, 32. Columbus Police was attempting to conduct a narcotics investigation search warrant at the home…when the discovery was made. Officials say the residence was a suspected drug house. Records show Lorenz was convicted of trafficking heroin in 2013, and was sentenced to a short prison term in 2015, following a community control violation. State and local officials continue their work in the investigation, at this hour.
