It sure looks like a lot of macaroni and cheese is headed our way.
According to The Bryan Times, the United Way of Williams County is going to host a massive “food packaging event” March 1 in the Bryan Middle School.
The United way plans to package 50,000 meals in two hours, which will then be divided up between all the county food banks.
Each of the 50,000 packages will contain enough food to feed six people six meals, and will have a shelf life of two years. They’re asking for volunteers to get the job done..
The products will arrive in bulk on Feb. 28.
To volunteer, call 419-636-8603 or email wecare@unitedwaywc.org.
