Drivers are advised to avoid the area of the 129 mile marker on eastbound I-80…following a fatal semi crash that causes a chemical spill. The Indiana State Police is currently investigating the solo crash, near Howe. Officers say both eastbound and westbound lanes of traffic were shut down. Eastbound traffic will be diverted at Indiana State Road 9. Westbound cars?…to the I-69 cutoff. They say the chemicals?…dangerous. Hazmat crews and others are cleaning up the mess.
