Major Crash On The Toll Road

Indiana State Police continues investigating after a suspected distracted driver causes two crashes on the Indiana Toll Road, in LaGrange County. First?…the report of a semi versus car crash, near the 112 mile marker. When responders get there…they discover it was actually two crashes…not one. Officials tell reporters, Steven Clery, 36, of Berwyn, Illinois is driving east…then…suddenly…his car goes off the roadway. The vehicle careens through the center grass median…then flips onto its side, at speed…ending with the wreckage tumbling over several times. It all ends up on the westbound side. That’s when big rig driver, Temitayo Oluwasanmi, 35, of Baltimore, Maryland…swerves to avoid the wreckage, heading the other way. The rig…with its load…goes off the north side of the road…smashing into the ditch. Oluwasanmi is okay. Clery is badly hurt…in an area hospital, now. It takes hours to clear the crash scene up.
