Man Drowns In Steuben County

Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a drowning on Lake James in Steuben County. Officials tell reporters they got a call a swimmer had gone under in the area of the Lake James sandbar. They say a bystander jumped in and recovered the victim. Rocky Rutledge, 61, of Romeoville, Illinois, was taken to shore and pronounced dead at the scene. The family has been notified. The investigation continues.
