Man from Pleasant Lake sentenced for meth lab

From Steuben Superior Court on Monday, 21-year-old Tyranny Frye of Pleasant Lake was sentenced to prison for making meth. He was arrested last April at a hotel north of Angola after a clerk reported a chemical odor and police checked it out. Frye will serve 3 1/2 years in prison, plus additional time for theft and pot possession charges. In the plea deal, prosecutors dismissed other charges. After he gets out, Frye will spend two years on probation.
