Drone policy set in Fremont Schools

With drones being the big gift this Christmas season, the Fremont School Board is looking ahead and passed a policy to control the use of drones and model aircraft. It states that any school employee or student who wants to operate an unmanned aircraft vehicle must get written permission from the Superintendents office, and fill out the proper paperwork for the FAA. Also, the drones are not allowed in areas where privacy is expected. And finally, anyone who is not affiliated with the schools and wants to fly over Fremont School property must also get permission from the district.
