A third person implicated in cocaine trafficking with four other persons was sentenced to prison Tuesday in Defiance County Common Pleas Court.
Rolando Valle was sentenced to prison for four years and 11 months by the Judge on charges of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and three counts of trafficking in cocaine. The judge also placed Valle on community control for five years on the two third-degree felonies following his release from prison while a 60-month prison term was reserved for the defendant if he violates community control terms.
Valle, who had pleaded guilty to the charges on March 24, will be eligible for judicial release after serving six months in prison, according to Murray.
Two co-defendants — Robert Sanchez III, 21, and Roberto Sanchez, 66, both of Defiance — already have been sentenced to prison.
Charges remain pending against two other co-defendants — Jesse Sanchez, 40, and Anita Sanchez, 57, who were being held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.
