Marcus Carter, 35

Marcus J. Carter, age 35, of Montpelier, Ohio, died at 9:10 P.M. on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Marcus had worked at Metal Spinners in Angola, Indiana.

Born July 6, 1978 in Toledo, Marcus was the son of Julie A Carter and Mark I. Nofzinger. He is survived by his daughter, Brittney A. Carter, of Montpelier; mother, Julie A. Fosgate, of Montpelier; father, Mark I. Nofzinger, of Blacksburg, Virginia; sister, Melissa M. (Phil) Heckman, of Edon; bothers, Mark S. Fosgate, of Edon and Matthew J. (Brian Hern) Nofzinger, of Taylor Mill, Kentucky; maternal grandmother, Judy Carter, of Toledo; maternal grandfather, William (Lynn) Carter, of Edon and paternal grandmother, Virginia Ellison, of Monroe, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Roger Nofzinger.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2013, from 11:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M. with funeral services being held at 3:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the family in care of Krill Funeral Service.
