Mary Louise Lambert, 75

Mary “Louise” Lambert, age 75, of Bryan, Ohio, and formerly a longtime resident of Ney, Ohio, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday, May 26, 2016, in her home after a year-long battle with cancer. Mrs. Lambert was a 1958 graduate of Defiance High School and worked as a quality control inspector for Plastech in Bryan, retiring in 1999 with fifteen years of service. She enjoyed scrap booking, traveling, reading and spending time with family. Louise loved watching her grandkids compete in their various sporting events, cheering for the Fairview Apaches, Bryan Golden Bears, Archbold Bluestreaks and Brunswick Blue Devils.

Mary Louise Lambert was born on September 10, 1940, in Defiance, Ohio, the daughter of Robert and Ocie (Steel) Shock. She married Robert William Lambert on February 23, 1963, in Defiance and he preceded her in death on July 31, 2013.

Survivors include her children, Alicia (Brian) Laffin, of Brunswick, Ohio, Bob (Stacy) Lambert, of Ney, Russ (Dorothy) Lambert, of Archbold, Ohio, Corey (Dawn) Lambert, of Bryan, Amanda (DJ) Curry, of Ney, Ohio, and Anna (Tyson) Mock, of Bryan; grandchildren, Mason, Gunner, Logan, Jorja, Jack, Julia and Codey Lambert, Brandon (Joy) and Tyler Laffin, Damon Coressel and Dallas Curry, Megan Pena and Katie Mock, Taylor Lipp; three great-grandsons, Adrian Lipp, Brody Lambert and Ellis Laffin; one brother, Robert E. Shock, Jr., of Defiance; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Dan and Jill Barnard, of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother, Gene Shock; and a granddaughter, Maddy Lambert.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 30, 2016, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan. Interment will follow in Ney Cemetery.
