The State Medical Board of Ohio approves the first round of doctors able to recommend medical marijuana to patients. The state Board of Pharmacy is still working to establish a patient registry, that’s expected by late summer. Dispensaries are set to open in September. The state requires physicians to complete a two hour course on prescribing the drug. The state approved medical marijuana back in September of 2016
