Meeks Gets Lawyer And Bail Set

Bond is set at $1 million cash in a Defiance County courtroom for Joshua Meeks, charged with attempted murder. Meeks also receives a court-appointed attorney. The charges stem from an Aug. 16 incident at Meeks’ home, where investigators say he hit his wife, repeatedly, with a wooden club. Meeks is held in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.
